Sustainability has been at the core of Sandymark’s developments in Greenogue Logistics Park, where the recent units have been constructed to LEED Gold standards and Nearly Zero Energy Building (NZEB) compliance.
The units at Ireland South Logistics Park have also been designed to achieve LEED Gold and NZEB status.
Standard features of LEED Gold status include:
- EV car charging stations in each car park
- Advanced energy-efficient systems and equipment, such as efficient HVAC systems, LED lighting, and smart controls to minimise energy consumption
- Solar reflective energy-efficient glazing
- Photo voltaic roof panel provision so occupiers can generate on-site renewable electricity and reduce operational costs
- Water efficiency features, including rainwater harvesting, low-flow toilets, and efficient irrigation systems, to reduce overall water consumption
